EXCELLENT STAY! The cutest little cottage house, very clean. Perfect for Bed and Breakfast! Highly recommend! Planning to go again for Christmas!

We found this hotel on Google and booked through *******. We received confirmation of our cabin the day of via email and noticed that the exterior pictures of the cabin in the email looked very different from the photos online. We didn’t think too much of it, hoping that it would look nice inside. When we arrived, our cabin was right next to a busy road and looked much more decrepit from the outside in person than in the photos and sat on the edge of the Coastal Estates property. We could see the nicer cabins down the gravel lane with beautiful landscaping that we had been expecting to stay in. When we went inside, the interior of the cabin was even more different from the pictures. The furniture was cheap looking, there were exposed cables coming out of the floor in almost every room, the floor of the cabin was uneven throughout the cabin, the bathroom fixtures weren’t properly attached and hung from the wall, and there were odd stains on the walls and in the shower. There was minimal decor and only a single window unit in the dining room, therefore the kitchen and bathroom were extremely warm. Two of the burners on the stove didn’t work and the kitchen had only a single spatula in terms of utensils to cook with. The TV also didn’t work. The property was fully booked so Coastal Estates could not move us into another cabin. We had booked this location for our 10-year wedding anniversary and were looking forward to a nice family weekend with our 2-year old daughter. We were so disappointed and disgusted with our cabin that we decided to drive 3 hours back home after calling multiple other properties in the Cape May area and finding no availability. I’m sure the other cabins on the property are nice but nothing about our booking experience could have allowed us to anticipate the poor condition of the cabin we were given. I think I can recognize our cabin interspersed in a few close cropped interior pictures on Google and ******* but no reasonable person could expect to book based on the available pictures and to stay in the cabin we were given.

"Luxury Coastal Estate" reads the sign. It was anything but luxurious. Pics DO NOT represent the condition of the cottages on the INSIDE. They seem cheaply built, very run down with cheap repairs. Our cottage was over run by flies. Toilet seat and sink on wall loose and almost falling off. Tile in shower cracked and disgusting No coffee pods for coffee maker. No dish soap/towels for kitchen. Cabinet door hanging off. Septic smell coming up from sink drain. The cottage was for 3 person stay and was only 2 chairs, 2 mugs, 2 sets of towels. My husband stood up to eat. Could see many shortcuts taken by property to save (keep) money. Room not ready at 4 pm check-in. Reported the flies and bathroom problems to front desk staff and never heard back!? She just told us they are booked and cannot move us to another room... Very overpriced for the experience. Would not return. Felt robbed. These are proper owner issues. No reflection of property staff.

The cottage was adorable and peaceful. Very clean and the property was well kept. The pool aread was clean and beautiful. I will return! Perfect peaceful birthday get away! Loved it!

Beautifully landscaped little cottages with a very pretty swimming pool tucked into a quiet stretch just outside Cape May city. The cottages are clean and airy with comfy beds, a helpful manager, and friendly staff. The property offers digital check-in but responds quickly to email and text questions. You'll be talking to an actual person not a bot. We can't stress enough the beauty of the flowers and trees and landscaping on this property. Gardeners and birders will love the setting as we did. The swimming pool is also clean and well cared for in a natural setting with cascading waterfall.
